Cardinal Valley Industrial Supply, Inc. (CV) warrants to the original user of its air starters and air starter parts (Product) to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of installation or date of purchase. The warranty period shall not extend beyond two years from the date the unit was manufactured.
The conditions of this warranty are: a) CV is notified within this period by return of such Product to CV or its authorized distributor/dealer, transportation prepaid by user: b) the Product is returned using a RMA issued by CV; c) the Product has been installed according to CV's specifications; d) the Product has not been misused, abused, or improperly maintained by user; e) the defect is not the result of normal wear and tear; f) the Product has not been tampered with; g) installation, operation, and maintenance procedures as outlined in the appropriate manual were properly followed; and h) the user provides sufficient documentation to demonstrate the installation date of the Product.
CV will repair, or at its option, replace the Product during the warranty period at no charge to the customer, provided it is returned to CV with the proper return procedure, as listed in above paragraph. CV makes no other warranty, and implied warranties including any warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are hereby disclaimed. This warranty constitutes the entire obligation of CV relating to the sale and use of such Product, and CV's maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of such Product at the date of purchase. In no event shall CV be liable for incidental, indirect, consequential, or special damages of any nature arising from the sale or use of such Product, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise.
